Lancom L-322agn

details: 802.11n Dual Band Access Point
hardware type: Wireless Access Point
date added: 2010-05-27
updated: 2013-04-08
The LANCOM L-322agn is a High Speed Dual Radio and Dual Band Access Point. With its two 11n radio modules it operates simultaneously in 2.4 and 5 GHz and can be connected to Gigabit Ethernet as well as to Fast Ethernet networks.

The L-322agn features one 10/100Base-T LAN port and one 10/100/1000Base-T LAN port. The LAN ports can (even parallel to LAN mode) be used as a WAN port for connecting external DSL modems (PPPoE) or external routers. This AP provides flexible power supply either via adapter or 802.3af PoE.

The LANCOM L-322agn works as a standalone Access Point which can be managed by a LANCOM WLAN Controller as well. It can operate in Wireless Client, Wireless Bridge and Router modes.

MIMO technology uses multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver to transmit multiple spatial streams. The multiple transmit streams which take different routes in
reflecting environments are combined at the receiver using MIMO techniques. The end result is a two-fold increase in throughput and improved wireless coverage due to lesser
deadspots.
