The F5D9231-4 is a wireless router with one 10/100Base-T WAN port and four 10/100Base-T LAN ports.

The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11b/g standards. Using "G+" technology it provides wireless transmission speeds of up to 108Mbps. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption and uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for easy wireless security configuration.

This router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. It features a built-in SPI firewall to protect the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
