BG1221 is a high-performance and cost-effective IADs addressing the SoHo and SMB market.

BG1221 provides advanced routing and bridging capabilities and also offers firewall functionality and VPN data protection (including IPSec hardware encryption). Moreover, basic IP-PBX capabilities are available to simply integrate SIP phones in to the VoIP Network.

BG1221 ensures operating continuity by ISDN data/VoIP & PSTN voice backup services in case of main connection fault. Moreover the USB 2.0 high power ports provide mobile backup for data/VoIP using a 3G dongle.

Configuration, firmware upgrades and troubleshooting of BG1221 can be performed locally and remotely thus providing Network Administrators with the maximum flexibility to connect remote branch offices and teleworkers to the corporate networks at the minimal costs of supervision & operation.

The wireless features of this router will be available through a future firmware upgrade.
