ADB / Pirelli EW 4340

details: 5GHz Wireless Video Bridge
hardware type: Wireless Bridge
date added: 2013-02-18
updated: 2015-09-29
The EW 4340 wireless video bridge is a point-to-multipoint, multimedia extension device enabling "wire-like" quality for high-definition (HD) video streaming and distribution. It enables HD video applications such as IPTV, multi-room content distribution, over the top internet video streaming and wireless HDTV applications.

The EW 4340 utilizes 4x4 MIMO Wi-Fi technology and provides wireless speeds of up to 600Mbps. It works as an Access Point (AP) paired with one or more EW 4340 5GHz client devices (STA) to achieve reliable video distribution.

The high throughput and signal robustness are achieved thanks to enhanced implementation of the IEEE 802.11n protocol which comprises support of 4 spatial streams with unequal modulation per stream, Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) and Space Time Block Coding (STBC).

The product is equipped with a WPS allowing for plug and play installation.
