Amazon's Luna game streaming platform is now in early access2020-10-20 17:48 by DanielaTags: Amazon, Luna
Amazon's cloud-gaming service Luna is available now to select gamers in the United States. The company launched the platform today in early access. You can request to join this beta period on the company's website. As part of this program, you can pay $6 per month to subscribe to the Luna+ Game Channel that starts with a library of 50 games. Luna will offer a library of games behind a subscription service, plus Twitch integration and support for a $49.99 Luna game controller. Releasing this month, the controller is Alexa-enabled and connects directly to the cloud for lower latency gaming, according to Amazon. Luna users will be able to subscribe to various paid channels offering access to their own game libraries. For example, the Luna+ game channel—which is included in the base subscription—will include titles such as Resident Evil 7, Control, Panzer Dragoon, A Plague Tale: Innocence, The Surge 2, Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair, Iconoclasts, Grid, Abzu and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Luna works on Fire TV, PC and Mac, and through web apps on iPhone and iPad. Android support is on the way. Users can play games with a keyboard and mouse, a Bluetooth game controller, or the Luna controller. Read more -here-
