Ruckus Wireless is a company offers "Smart Wi-Fi" and "Smart WLAN" adaptive antenna technology able to support streaming multicast IP video over the 802.11 standard protocol.

This adaptive antenna technology leverages high-gain directional array technology and rocket-science best path selection algorithms to form and direct Wi-Fi signals over the best performing paths to each and every client. In the short time the company has been around (since 2004), Ruckus Wireless has been granted 28 patents surrounding this, and other, Wi-Fi technologies (with 30 more patents pending).
